Remember your favorite thing that you received from your granddaughter. Ask her to do the same. This does not have to be material (in fact, it it is better if it's not). Try to think of something more symbolic the two of you have exchanged, or it it is a material object, how that object is singular in coming from your granddaughter, or for her coming from you. Think back on how your responded to getting this thing. How did you receive it? Write a little note, a little poem to your granddaughter, expressing how this thing fits into your relationship symbolically.
